About

I have developed LAN-based clinical software and led a team that developed an EHR system. That was long before the iPad/iPhone era. Mobile computing opens up so many possibilities for clinical computing that I decided to learn Swift and build a few clinical applications. Clinical Swift is both a soapbox for promoting clinical software design principles and a way (I hope) of connecting with others interested in creating the next generation of clinical care systems.

Acknowledging creativity in software design…
The art displayed on this site is taken from the public domain collections of the world’s most noted museums.  Great software requires more than technical competence. Like art, software design requires creativity and inspiration.  The works displayed are a nod to great artists of the past from an aspiring artist of the present, to the beauty in elegant code.
